Starter vs. End Game PvP Gear

Hey Guys,

I love to PvP OW, t-dred, KB / IWW / ID (when I can get in a group – lot of elitists out there) and that’s pretty much all I do in game. The majority of my the time is spent OW.

As a result of my play style, I’ve realized the likelihood of me having end game level gear is virtually non-existent at this point.

With that said, I’m quite happy with my current level of gear. I’m full BM accessories and armor (+5), +5 AC BM spellbook combine (silence godstone and blazing fighter magical idian). All ancient slots are +18 MA and all regular slots are +27 MB. I have a +5 magic plume. With food and buffs I’m hitting around 3.2K MB and 2.2K MA.

There have been very few times where I’ve thought gear is what made a fight go south and perhaps that’s just because the SM is such a powerful class. When I drop its most typically because I’m either outnumbered, fighting a class that can silence bury faster on me than I on them, still learning other classes abilities (I’m a nub) or make a mistake.

My question is, how much of a difference would being uber geared really make (aug2 abyss gear, composites, +15, mythic weapon, etc.)? Not the numbers like so much more MA, MB, HP, Def., ATK SPD but more so, what that means in game, what it “feels” like and really, what more does it allow a player to accomplish when PvPing than the state of gear I currently have.

Thanks!

Fire Gleeful Ladder replied to xform and flight time

Greetings, Daeva, We understand your frustration and appreciate you reaching out to the community for help. Not receiving a verification email is a common issue that many players have encountered across various games. We’ve checked the forums and have a few potential fixes you can try. Hopefully, one of these will help you get into the game!

Possible Fixes for Verification Email Issue

Check Your Email Folders: This may seem obvious, but it's the most common solution. Please check your spam, junk, and other filtered folders. Sometimes, a legitimate email can be mistakenly flagged and sent there. Add Aion to Your Whitelist: To prevent future emails from being blocked, add the official Aion email address (often something like `noreply@aiononline.com` or an equivalent from NCSoft/Gameforge) to your email account's contact list or whitelist. This tells your email provider that you trust the sender. Try a Different Email Provider: Some email providers, particularly those like Hotmail, Outlook, or Live, are known to be overly aggressive with their spam filters. If you used one of these, consider creating a new account with a different provider, such as Gmail, and try the registration process again. Many players report better success with services like Gmail. Wait for the Email: Depending on server load and other factors, there can sometimes be a significant delay in receiving the verification email. In some cases, it may take several hours or even a full day to arrive. If you've just created your account, we recommend waiting a while longer before assuming it's a bug. Contact Aion Support Directly: If none of the above steps work, the best course of action is to contact the official Aion support team. They have the tools to manually verify your account or provide a direct solution. You can typically find a link to their support portal on the official game website. They will likely ask for your account name and the email address you used. We hope this information helps, and we look forward to seeing you in Atreia soon! Feel free to update us if you find a solution that works for you, as it may help other players with the same problem. Best regards, The Forum Moderator Team
